The Wisdom of Water: Lessons in Flow, resiliency and self-acceptance!


Have you ever stared at a river or observed rain falling from the sky? Water is powerful. It is renewing. There's something utterly captivating about the way water effortlessly moves exists and nourishes the world. Water, in all its forms, has a mesmerizing quality that wants to teach us profound lessons about life. But - what is it trying to tell us?

Flow through change

Water is always in motion, constantly flowing. It doesn't dwell on the past or worry about the future. Instead, it embraces change with grace and ease. We can too, by cultivating a mindset of adaptability and openness. I mean… after all, life is a series of ebbs and flows. It’s a lesson in adapation and we have a choice. We can be stressed, tying to force things into place - or we and can learn to ride the currents and go with the flow.
In life, we encounter unexpected twists and turns. It’s inevitable that even the best thought out plans… just don’t go the way we wanted them to. When that happens, it is natural want to cling to the familiar idea. To think of what we thought we wanted and to be afraid of the unexpected. However, as water reminds us - that growth and transformation only occur when we step outside of our comfort zones. By stepping forward with focus and belief - we can summon our warrior spirt.

Resilience

Water has an uncanny ability to cleanse and rejuvenate. It is constantly turning over, allowing the impurities to float away and making space for freshness. We can learn from this continual purification process by developing resilience in the face of challenges.
Like a river, life often brings obstacles and hardships to our path. When that happens, we , once again have a decision point. Do we stop the flow? Do turn back? No! We must persevere. Find a way to flow around whatever stands in our way with resilience. Instead of succumbing to setbacks, we can choose to see them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. By turning over our challenges and learning from them, we continue to nourish our stronger, more resilient warrior spirit.

Self acceptance

Water is vast, spanning across oceans and covering a significant portion of our planet. Yet, it doesn't question its existence or size. It simply exists as an integral part of the Earth's ecosystem. We can learn a great deal from water's sense of acceptance.
Often, we find ourselves questioning our place in the grand scheme of things. We may try to make ourself small to fit in. Or force our presence to fit "what we think it should. We may compare ourselves to others or doubt our own abilities. But just as water knows its place within the world, we must learn to embrace our own unique journey. We must learn to believe in the unique power that only we have. Cultivating that unquestioning belief in ourselves feeds and grows the deep inner confidence that lets us stand tall - in our warrior bodies.

What does water teach us?

Water holds timeless wisdom, teaching us valuable lessons about flow, resilience, and acceptance. By observing the way it moves and turns over, we can tap into a deeper understanding of our own lives. Let's remember the importance of embracing change, developing resilience, and embodying our magic.
